מאיה סמירה, אמנית, יוצרת, מורה ומרצה, מתמחה במחול, יוגה ותנועה, במקביל לעיסוק במדיום הדיגיטלי, צילום,  וידאו, ובימוי. בוגרת המכללה האקדמית וינגייט בתכנית הדרכת מחול מזרחי (2021), ומורה  ליוגה מאז שהוכשרה בלוס אנג’לס (2015). בוגרת לימודי צילום במנשר בת״א, תואר ראשון באוניברסיטה הפתוחה (2012), תואר שני במכון לאמנות בסן פרנסיסקו (2014), ולימודי הסבה להוראה בסמינר הקיבוצים.

​Maya Smira is an artist, creator, teacher, and lecturer, specializing in dance, yoga, and movement, alongside working 'with photography, video, and directing. She studied at the Oriental Dance Teacher Program at the Wingate Academic College’s, and a certified YTT200 yoga teacher trained in Los Angeles in 2015. She also holds a photography diploma from Minshar in Tel Aviv, a bachelor's degree from the Open University, a master's degree from the San Francisco Art Institute, and a teaching certificate from Seminar Hakibbutzim.
